- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray, for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Cook Pasta:
- Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
- Mix Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cooked chicken, and Alfredo sauce.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and mix until well combined.
- Prepare for Baking:
- Spread the chicken Alfredo mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the pasta mixture.
- Bake:
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.
