  • 21 ounces apple pie filling
  • 5 tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup pecan halves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and arrange in the baking dish.
  3. Pour melted butter over cinnamon rolls.
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over rolls.
  5. Spread apple pie filling evenly over the top. Add pecans if desired.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes, covering for the first 35 minutes, then uncover for the last 5 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Warm the icing from the cinnamon rolls and drizzle over the baked casserole. Serve warm.
