Description

A fun and tasty twist on traditional tacos, these savory taco cupcakes are perfect for parties and quick dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning and water to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Place a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, pressing it down to form a cup shape.
  5. Spoon a tablespoon of the taco beef mixture into each wonton cup. Top with a teaspoon of salsa and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
  6. Add a second wonton wrapper over the top and press it down gently. Add another layer of taco beef, salsa, and cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the wonton wrappers are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Top each taco cupcake with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of green onions before serving.
