- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 10 oz marshmallows
- 20 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Extra crushed Oreos for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and crushed Oreos until well combined.
- Add the Rice Krispies cereal and gently fold until the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press it down evenly with a buttered spatula or wax paper.
- Sprinkle extra crushed Oreos on top if desired, and gently press them into the mixture.
- Let the treats cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For extra Oreo flavor, add a drizzle of melted white chocolate on top.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
