Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 250 g Marie biscuits
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 200 g semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cocoa powder or chocolate shavings for garnish

Preparation Steps

  • Break the Marie biscuits into small bite-sized pieces and set aside in a large bowl.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, combine the heavy cream and butter. Heat gently until the butter melts and the cream is warm but not boiling.
  • Add the chopped chocolate and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture over the biscuit pieces and gently fold until all the biscuits are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture into a lined square pan, spreading it evenly and pressing down lightly.
  • Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours, or until firm and set.
  • Slice into squares and garnish with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

Ensure to allow enough time for the bars to set in the refrigerator before serving.
