Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream, honey, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped pecans, being careful not to overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

This bread can be served warm or at room temperature and pairs well with butter.
