Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a large, heavy-bottomed skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown, approximately 5 minutes per side. Once cooked through, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the egg noodles to the skillet, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid. Cover the skillet and let the noodles cook until tender, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, approximately 8-10 minutes.
  • Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the butter and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
  • Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, allowing them to warm through for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish is best served warm and can be garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
