Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ripe banana mashed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional

Instructions
 

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in mashed banana, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
