  • 2 8-ounce blocks cream cheese softened
  • 1 ¾ cups sour cream

Vegetables

  • ¼ cup chopped pickled jalapeños plus more to garnish
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1 medium roma tomato chopped
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives drained
  • ¼ small red onion finely chopped

Other

  • 1 ounce packet taco seasoning
  • 1 tsp. lime zest
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • hot sauce to serve
  • tortilla chips to serve

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth. Mix in the sour cream, pickled jalapenos, taco seasoning, lime zest, and lime juice.
  • In a 2-quart dish or a serving platter, spread cream cheese mixture, smoothing it into an even layer. Top with the lettuce, cheese, tomato, olives, red onion, and pickled jalapeños, if desired.
  • Serve with hot sauce and tortilla chips.
